Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Route 25 in Hubley Township
Hubley Township, Pennsylvania (September 1, 2017) – An elderly motorcyclist was injured following a collision with a vehicle on Route 25, Thursday morning.
According to Schuylkill based State Police, the incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. August 31, on Route 25 in Hubley Township, Schuylkill County.
The reports indicate that 60-year-old William J. Birster of Locust Gap was riding his motorcycle on the road when he collided with a car driven by Elizabeth T. Augustin, 64, of Sacramento.
The impact of the crash caused Birster to be ejected from the motorcycle landing on the roadway.
Birster sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
