Young Cyclist Injured in Ellwood City Bicycle-Vehicle Crash
Ellwood City, Pennsylvania (August 26, 2017) – A child riding a bicycle sustained minor injuries after being struck by a car at an intersection in Ellwood city on Friday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Crescent Avenue.
Emergency responders confirmed that the child had sustained minor injuries. The child, however, was conscious and alert by the time emergency crew arrived and was transported to Ellwood City Hospital.
No further information was available regarding the condition and identity of the child.
The police are yet to determine the cause of the crash.
