Distracted driving, which is also a form of negligence, is a major cause of car accidents. Drivers think they can multi-task and still drive safely, which is not always true. Texting, eating, conversing with a passenger, applying makeup, and programming a GPS are all distractions that take the drivers’ focus off the road. Life-threatening collisions occur within seconds of a distraction. If investigators determine that distracted driving caused this collision, then whichever driver is responsible will have to endure the consequences.

Because two people suffered fatal injuries, their families can pursue a wrongful death lawsuit with the help of an attorney. The other injured victim can file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a personal injury lawyer. It’s very unfortunate that two people lost their lives in this collision. It’s also unfortunate that someone suffered injuries, too.
