Overturned Tractor-Trailer on West Chester PikeA large portion of West Chester Pike was covered in either dirt or mulch early this morning after a tractor-trailer tipped over onto its side on the busy highway. The trucking accident that occurred in West Goshen Township slowed traffic dramatically, as at least three other vehicles collided into the wreck. The crash happened around 8:00 a.m. this morning.

While three vehicles plus the truck were all involved in this motor vehicle accident, there is no word yet on the extent of any injuries. The accident occurred at Glenn Avenue this morning, and crashes such as this one typically result in at least minor, if not catastrophic injuries. So far, all those involved seem to be fairly fortunate, which is certainly a blessing considering the nature of this accident. Eventually, the West Chester Pike Highway was reopened after severe delays slowed traffic for several hours.
