Tractor Trailer Kills a Weedville Man

Tractor Trailer Kills a Weedville Man (December 19, 2017) Pennsylvania State Police responded to an early morning accident after a tractor trailer kills a Weedville man.

The Centre Daily Times reported that the fatal accident happened around 5 o’clock in the morning on Monday, December 18th.  The police reported that the collision occurred in Bradford Township just off Interstate 80.  The tractor trailer was traveling eastbound coming off the ramp at Exit 123 approaching Shawville Highway when a sedan traveling southbound on Shawville Highway hit the tractor trailer on its right side as it pulled onto Shawville Highway from the intersection which is governed by a Stop sign.  Following the collision, the tractor trailer dragged the sedan for over 130 feet.

Police have identified the persons involved in the incident as Waylon A. Ream, a 40 year old man from Marshallville, Ohio who was behind the wheel of the tractor trailer and Thomas William Denny, a 22 year old man from Weedville who was driving a Hyundai sedan.  Mr. Denny died at the scene.

No information was given about possible charges in the accident and Mr. Ream was not physically injured.
