Tractor Trailer Head-on Fatality Accident (November 28, 2017) On Monday, November 27th there was a tractor trailer head-on fatality accident in Northumberland County. Today the identity of the woman killed in the collision was revealed to be Crystal Hubler, who was 65 years old and lived in Lavelle.
In an article by The Daily Item, On Monday morning, November 27th, Ms. Hubler was driving her car with two young girls aged 13 and 9, in East Cameron Township on Upper Road. Her vehicle crossed over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic where it met violently, in a head on collision with a tractor trailer. The accident happened just before 11 o’clock in the morning and Ms. Hubler was pronounced deceased at the accident scene before 11:30am.
The tractor-trailer was driven by Clinton Guy Honicker, who is 65 years old and lives in Coal Township was also injured in the accident. While his injuries were described as minor, he was taken to Geisinger Shamokin Community Hospital via ambulance. There is no further information on the condition or names of the two young girls who were in Ms. Hubler’s vehicle.
