Several people were treated for injuries after a crash that involved a tour bus happened around 1:45 this afternoon in Leacock Township. The bus was loaded with over 50 passengers when it was involved in a motor vehicle accident with multiple vehicles. The crash occurred on Route 340, just west of North Harvest road. The accident temporarily closed route 340 between Leacock and Weavertown roads.

All 50+ passengers were gathered together in a field to undergo evaluation of their injuries. Numerous passengers complained of knee pain and asked for things such as ice packs. However, at least two people are being treated for possible severe injuries as one was immediately taken to the hospital. The involvement of the bus that was heading for Sight and Sound Theatre technically makes this a commercial trucking accident, and the severity of such a crash could have been much worse. In any event, only time will show the full effects on everyone involved.
