Robyn M. Pennachio, 52, Killed in Pedestrian Versus Car Accident

Lawrence County, Pennsylvania (August 17, 2017) – Pennsylvania State Police have released the identity of a female pedestrian who was killed Sunday after being struck by a car.

The fatal incident took place at 11:40 p.m., August 13, along Route 422 just 600 feet east of New Edinburg Road.

The woman identified as Robyn Pennachio, 52, of Edinburg was fatally hit by a car as she was walking towards the east in the eastbound lane of travel on Route 422.

Shianne H. Jackson, 20, from New Castle driving a 2012 Jeep Patriot on Route 422 hit Pennachio.

Jackson and Mikalyn M. Jackson, a passenger, also from New Castle were not hurt in the accident.

No charges had yet been filed about the incident.

An investigation by officials was still ongoing to determine charges and liability.
