Two-Vehicle Collision on Octorara Trail Kills Riley Mathias and Injures 3 Others
Chester County, PA (August 29, 2017) – A two-vehicle crash killed one woman and sent three others to a hospital for the treatment of injuries sustained. According to the police, the collision occurred around 11 p.m. August 26 in the 300 block of Octorara Trail, West Caln Township.
The victim of the crash was identified as 20-year-old Riley Margaret Mathias, of Lancaster. She was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision.
Three others were transferred to Paoli Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries. They have been released already. One of the injured victims in the crash was a passenger in Mathias’ vehicle. The remaining two were from the other vehicle.
The West Caln Township Police were still investigating the cause of the accident.
