In a report by TribLive, the accident occurred early Friday just after 5 o’clock in the morning on Frankstown Avenue in the 8300 block area.  According to information provided by local police and public safety officials the two vehicles involved in the collision were a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, believed to be painted white and a Kia Sportage which was driven by Rhonda P. Everson, age 59 years old from Penn Hills.  The 911 emergency hotline was called to alert police of the accident but no information about the caller has been made public.
