Even though the investigators are still investigating the scene, there is a possibility that the woman’s family could want to file a lawsuit depending on the evidence found. If the truck driver was being negligent, then her family has every right to file a personal injury lawsuit. However, there is a chance the woman could have been in the driver’s blind spot. If the driver was driving under the influence, falling asleep at the wheel, or using a cellphone, then a lawsuit can be filed.
