35-Year-Old Errol Catchings Dies After Being Struck By Two-Vehicles While Crossing Roosevelt Boulevard in Olney
Olney, Philadelphia (July 4, 2017) – A 35-year-old Sharon Hill man died early Wednesday morning last week after he was struck by two vehicles in Olney, Philadelphia, according to a police report.
The deadly crash took place at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, in the northbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard near Wyoming Avenue.
According to the report, Errol Catchings was trying to cross Roosevelt Boulevard when a minivan struck him. Catchings was then struck by another vehicle.
The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and were question by investigators, according to the report.
Initial reports indicated that Catchings was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
The incident remained under investigation.
