Neshannock Injury Accident (December 17, 2017) On Sunday evening snow covered hills along Interstate 376 saw a Neshannock injury accident that sent two people to the hospital.
New Castle News reported the accident happened just after 8 o’clock in the evening near the Route 422 and the Sampson Street exchange on Interstate 376. One car had its rear half crushed like an accordion however it is unclear what caused the accident or if road conditions were a factor in the collision.
There were four people between the two cars in the wreck and two of the persons suffered injuries requiring transportation to Jameson Hospital. Neither the extent or nature of the injuries were made available at the time of the New Castle News report. The other two individuals involved refused treatment. There were no names or ages of the persons involved.
Fire squads from Neshannock Township and Union were at the scene to provide assistance and the Pennsylvania State Police were also dispatched. So far, no citation has been issued in the accident. A bit of a mysterious event to date but another sad roadway accident during the holiday season.
