Multi-Vehicle Crash in Upper MerionAnytime that you mix a busy road with a motor vehicle accident, the results will almost always be devastating. A multi-vehicle crash proved that today on Route 422 in Upper Merion Township. The large accident, which included a minimum of at least four vehicles, happened in a construction zone near Route 23 on the way toward King of Prussia.

According to police, the crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. Thursday and one of the cars involved ended up on top of a concrete barrier. Emergency crews found an incredible amount of difficulty in reaching the wreck due to the traffic jam that it had caused. Route 422 was reopened around 7:30 a.m. although motorists were certainly feeling the effects during the busy morning rush hours. At least one person was transported to the hospital, but whether minor, serious, or catastrophic injuries occurred is yet to be known.
