1 Killed in Uwchlan Route 113 Car-School Bus Collision in Chester County
Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania (September 6, 2017) – A motorist was killed in a collision involving a school bus on West Uwchlan Avenue on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the incident occurred just before 8 a.m. September 5, in the 500 block of West Uwchlan Avenue between Woodland and Northwood drives.
As per the report, the vehicle rear-ended the school bus at a high rate of speed in the southbound lanes of Route 113. The impact caused the vehicle to veer off the road and strike a utility pole.
Paramedics arrived at the scene, and the driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead.
The driver of the school bus was uninjured in the crash. The bus was not carrying students at the time of the crash.
The police did not release the name of the victim.
The police are investigating the incident.
