Motorist Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in Crucible, Greene County

Crucible, Pennsylvania (October 1, 2017) – A motorist was injured after two vehicles collided in Crucible, Greene County, on Thursday morning.

According to a statement by the Cumberland police, the incident occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. September 28, on Crucible Road.

As per the report, an SUV rear-ended a coupe which was northbound on Crucible Road. The impact of the collision caused the car to spin and veer off the roadway before striking a wall of a post office.

The injured coupe driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. The SUV driver, however, was unhurt in the collision.

The identity of the motorists was not immediately established.

The building suffered a significant structural damage.

An investigation into the collision is underway.
