Man Killed in Center City Motorcycle Crash at 17th and Ben Franklin Road
Center City, Philadelphia (July 12, 2017) – A man died Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash in Center City, according to a police report.
The incident took place at about 3 p.m. at the intersection of 17th and Ben Franklin Road.
Police said the 27-year-old man was doing wheel stands when the collided with a box truck at the intersection.
The man was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The name of the deceased rider was not immediately available. The incident remained under investigation.
