Motorcyclist in Critical Condition after Collision on Route 309 in West Penn Twp

West Penn Twp, Pennsylvania (September 30, 2017) – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in West Penn Township on Friday afternoon.

According to a local news source, the motorcyclist was riding his Harley Davidson northbound on Route 309 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a man from Reading.

The Collision was reported at about 4 p.m. September 29.

According to a statement by the police, the vehicle was pulling out of a private lot when it struck the rider.

The injured motorcyclist was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center for treatment in critical condition.

The identity of the biker and the condition of the motorist was not immediately established.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
