One Dead and One Injured French Creek Parkway Accident
Crawford County, Pennsylvania (August 2, 2017) – A male rider aged 69 years was killed and his passenger injured in a motorcycle versus car crash in Meadville on Monday, according to Meadville Police Department.
The fatal crash took place at about 11:45 a.m. July 31, at the intersection of French Creek Parkway and Baldwin Park Road.
According to police, a man from Meadville driving an SUV was heading west on Baldwin Park Road then drove to French Creek Parkway where he collided with a motorcycle which was heading north on the French Creek Parkway.
The man and woman riding on the motorbike were hospitalized at Meadville Medical Center where the motorcyclist was pronounced dead by Crawford County Coroner. The woman was transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie for further treatment.
Limited details regarding the SUV driver condition were available at this time.
Police continue investigating the incident to determine the charges.
