Michael Christopher Killed Fatal Interstate 70 Rear-End Crash in Fallowfield
Fallowfield, Pennsylvania (September 20, 2017) – According to a local news release, an 18-year-old Charleroi man lost his life following a traffic crash Friday night in Fallowfield.
The deadly accident transpired at about 11:35 p.m. Friday, September 15 on Interstate 70.
As per the article, Michael Christopher Shipe, 18, suffered fatal injuries after his vehicle rear-ended a commercial truck. It was not clear how the crash exactly took place.
Police officers pronounced Michael dead when they arrived at the scene and also confirmed that he was not wearing a seat belt prior to the incident.
Meanwhile, 62-year-old Domingo Hugarte Costilla, of Bloomington, was the driver of the truck and was not injured in the crash.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing by the authorities.
