Man and Woman Seriously Injured in Two-Car Crash on Route 14

Danville, PA (September 5, 2017) – A man and a woman sustained serious injuries after the car they were in crashed into another vehicle on Route 14 Saturday evening.

Ralston Fire Chief John Orr reported that the collision occurred near the Bodines Bridge a little before 10 p.m. September 2.

Volunteer firefighters who responded to the scene worked almost an hour before they were able to extricate one of the drivers involved in the crash. The male driver and his female passenger were both brought to a local hospital via an ambulance before they were transferred to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

The couple in the second vehicle involved in the crash sustained minor injuries. They declined treatment.

State police were investigating the collision.
