Man Airlifted to Hospital After Motorcycle-Car Collision in Burgettstown

Burgettstown, PA (August 22, 2017) – A motorcycle and car crash in the 1200 block of Main Street Sunday night sent two people to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. According to the police report, the accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. August 20 in the area near a BP service station in Burgettstown.
The collision involved a male motorcyclist who crashed his vehicle into a car on the road. First responders found the man unconscious at the scene. He was not wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.
Due to the injuries he sustained, the man had to be airlifted via helicopter to an area hospital. Meanwhile, his female passenger was transported to a hospital via ambulance for a possible broken leg injury.
No one else was reported injured.
