Gap Man Injured in Windsor Township 2-Vehicle Collision on Windsor Road
Windsor, Pennsylvania (September 7, 2017) – A 27-year-old Gap man was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Windsor Road in Windsor Township on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a statement by York Area Regional Police, the accident happened at about 2 a.m. September 6, in the 2700 block of Windsor Road, near Valley Road in Windsor Township.
According to the police, the man was driving a 2006 Dodge pickup truck when for unknown reasons, it collided with a tractor-trailer driven by a 60-year-old Holtwood man. The tractor-trailer was transporting an oversized load.
The Dodge driver was injured in the crash and was transported to a hospital in the area in unknown condition. It is not known whether the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured in the crash.
The police did not release the identities of the men.
The crash is under investigation.
The accident resulted in the closure of a section of the road between Valley and Delta roads.
