Male Pedestrian Killed in Parkside Crash at 53rd Street and Parkside Avenue
Parkside, Philadelphia (July 14, 2017) – A male pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday morning in Philadelphia’s Parkside section.
The fatal accident occurred shortly after 12 a.m. July 14, at 53rd Street and Parkside Avenue.
As per police, the victim was male in his late teens to his early 20s. Medical crews arrived at the crash and took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He was pronounced in the hospital.
The driver of the involved car remained at the crash site after the accident.
It was not known if any charges would be filed.
The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
