1 Hurt in Motorcycle Crash at Route 15 and Route 54
Clinton Township, Pennsylvania (September 21, 2017) – Kurt W. Stroble, 21, of Montoursville, was injured after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Sunday in Lycoming County, according to state police.
The accident happened at about 5:43 p.m. September 17, at the intersection of Routes 15 and 54 in Clinton Township.
According to a statement by the state police, Kurt was eastbound on Route 54 in his Suzuki GS500F motorcycle and was stopped at the red light. At the same time, Michael G. Everett, 38, of Williamson, NY, was westbound on Route 54 in his 2008 Cadillac CTS and was also stopped at the intersection.
At the green light, Everett made a left turn onto Route 15 and collided with the motorcyclist.
Stroble was injured in the collision and was transported by ambulance to UPMC Susquehanna- Williamsport for treatment of unknown extent of injuries.
Stroble was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Everett was unharmed.
Police are still investigating the incident. Everett was cited for a traffic violation.
