Jordan, 11, Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in North Braddock

Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (August 19, 2017) – An 11-year-old boy is recovering after a hit-and-run crash that left him injured in North Braddock on Tuesday, as per officials.

The accident took place at about 9 p.m. August 15, on Rebecca Street off Verona in Allegheny County.

The boy, identified by his mother as Jordan was riding his bike from Rebecca Street towards an alleyway off Verona when a car turned from Bell onto Verona and hit him then fled the scene.

Jordan was transported to the hospital and was diagnosed with a concussion. His teeth were re-set. Initial photos showed his face swollen and bruised.

Jordan is currently recovering.

Police continued with an investigation into the crash to determine its cause and liability.
