Jogger Seriously Injured after being Hit by Car in Wilkes-Barre

Luzerne County, Pennsylvania (August 19, 2017) – A jogger was hit and sent flying about 50 feet in Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday evening, according to officials.

The accident took place at about 5 p.m. August 16, at the intersection of West Northampton and River Streets.

The woman was transported to a hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.

The driver of the car involved stopped.
