Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Truck on Route 696 near I-81
Shippensburg, Pennsylvania (September 25, 2017) – James S. McKee, 43, of Waynesboro, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 696 in Shippensburg on Sunday afternoon.
A statement by the State Police indicates that the accident occurred at about 4 p.m. September 24, on Route 696 near the intersection with I-81 in Southampton Township.
McKee was reportedly speeding when he crashed into a tractor-trailer driven by 30-year-old Christopher M. Crumlich of Dauphin.
McKee who was not wearing a helmet was killed in the collision. No word was provided on the condition of the truck driver.
The police are still investigating the incident.
