The latter proves to be true today as one person lost their life in an accident that happened in Butler township. The Butler County crash put everyone in the area on edge as the details emerged.

According to police, the accident occurred right around 12:30 p.m. The fatal crash happened on Delwood Road when the victims’ vehicle struck a tree and left the driver entrapped inside. The crash caused the road to be closed for approximately one hour. Delwood road was reopened around 1:30 this afternoon. The devastating wreck resulted in one person being transported to Butler Memorial Emergency Room for catastrophic injuries, though they later passed away.

It is unclear as to why the accident occurred, although speculation says that the driver may have been run off the road by a passing vehicle. If that is true, then there is also a negligent driver at fault. Such a person would need to be held responsible for causing the accident, and in turn, facing wrongful death charges.
