Franconia Township, Pennsylvania (September 7, 2017) – The names of the two workers involved in an accident in Franconia Township have been released by police.
David Smith, 53, of Telford and Jeffrey Moyer, 46, also of Telford were struck by a car while they were painting lines on a road.
The accident happened on Tuesday on West Broad Street. The two men are employees of the Franconia Township Highway Department and were hit by a vehicle painting lines on West Broad Street.
Smith died after sustaining fatal injuries while Moyer was hospitalized in critical condition.
The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash.
