Overturned Tractor-Trailer in Lebanon CountyEarly this morning, a crash in Lebanon County shut down part of I-81, causing havoc among motorists. The motor vehicle accident resulted in severe delays that stalled traffic for hours on the interstate. Apparently, the crash was the result of an overturned tractor-trailer, and the truck is being blamed for the interruptions on the highway. Traffic had to be funneled down into one lane for several hours.

According to reports, the trucking accident happened between the Interstate 78 split and Exit 90 on I-81. Accidents involving commercial trucks are typically among the most severe, given the size and general speed of such enormous vehicles. Nevertheless, there has not been any word on the extent of injuries suffered by any passengers who were involved in the wreck. The tractor-trailer that was northbound on I-81, overturned and it apparently took crews several hours to remove the large truck. At this time, we hope there were no catastrophic injuries suffered, although hope is all we have.
