One man was pronounced dead after a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Dauphin County late last night. Apparently, 56-year-old Marvin Frye of Halifax was heading north on Route 147 in Reed Township when he unexpectedly crossed over into the southbound lane and subsequently caused the collision. The reason for Frye’s altered movements is still unknown at this time.
According to police, the crash occurred on SR-147 around 8:15 last night in the area of Mountain road. The accident involved a motorcycle and a Sedan, and it resulted in one person pronounced dead at the scene, as well as two people who were suffering from catastrophic injuries. Marvin Frye, the motorcyclist was the one victim who died at the scene, while the driver of the sedan and one passenger were injured. The driver, a 56-year-old woman was driven to the hospital by a family member while a passenger is also being treated.
