Christopher Taylor Williams Dies after Berks County 2-Vehicle Crash on I-78

Berks County, Pennsylvania (September 25, 2017) – Christopher Taylor Williams, 25, of Colmar, died on Friday after succumbing to injuries sustained in a traffic collision on Wednesday in in Berks County.

According to the State Police, Taylor was driving his vehicle on I-78 at about 6 p.m. when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

Williams and a passenger identified as Edmund Thomas Mann, of Churchville, were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

According to a local news source, Williams succumbed to injuries while Thomas remains hospitalized.

The truck driver was unharmed.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is yet to be concluded.
