Bethlehem, PA – Drunk Driver Crashes into Pool

Drunk Driver Almost Injures Family Bethlehem, PA (July 13, 2018) On Friday night, 57-year old Dean Tomsic crashed his car into an above-ground pool in a family’s yard in Bushkill Township. Officials say the Tomsic seemed to be on a drunken-rampage. He drove through two yards before he reached the pool. Two children and two adults hopped out of the pool just in time; therefore, they avoided injuries. After crashing into their pool, Tomsic proceeded through another yard and hit a water well casing. Donegal, PA – Head-On Collision Kills Two Women

Fatal Collision on Route 711 Donegal, PA (July 14, 2018) On Friday, around 3:00 p.m., two women died in a head-on collision involving two vehicles. Officials state that the two women were in a SUV driving north when they collided with another vehicle driving south. The accident occurred on State Route 711 near Nedrow Road in Westmoreland County. Summerhill Township, PA – Semi Truck Crashes into Freight Train

Truck-Train Collision Causes One Injury Summerhill Township, PA (July 17, 2018) Today around 12:00 p.m., a collision occurred between a pickup truck and a train on 19500 Canal Rd. The collision occurred at the intersection of a private driveway and the Canadian National Railway Company. The train was a three-engine, 71-freight-car carrying iron ore and heading south. There were two men in the pickup truck and they both suffered injuries. Both police officers and medical personnel were at the scene ready to help and investigate. Edinboro, PA – Motorcycle Collides on Meadville Street

Motorcyclist Injured on Meadville Street Edinboro, PA (July 12, 2018) On Thursday afternoon, at around 5:00 p.m., a 65-year-old man driving a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on 100 Meadville Street. The motorcycle driver suffered moderate injuries; therefore, the EMS transported him to the Saint Vincent Hospital for treatment. It’s not specified whether the other driver also suffered injuries. More investigation will determine who is liable and at fault for the accident. It’s unclear whether the accident was a head-on collision, or whether the accident occurred due to negligence.
