Carolyn Moyer, 77, and Karen Hillwig, 61, Hurt in Head-On Crash in Connoquenessing Township

Connoquenessing Township, Pennsylvania (September 22, 2017) – Two people were injured and hospitalized following a head-on crash in Butler County on Monday morning, according to first-responders.
The crash took place on September 18, on Route 68 also called Evans City Road, in Connoquenessing Township.
Carolyn Moyer, 77, tried to pass Kyle Gandy, 22, causing the vehicles to touch each other and Moyer went on speeding past Gandy. Moyer then hit Karen Hillwig, 61, head-on while passing Gandy, as per responders.
Moyer and Hillwig were taken to Butler Memorial with injuries. Gandy was not hurt in the crash.
Limited details on the condition of the victims were available at the time of the report.
Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the incident to determine liability.
