Carolyn Griffin, 61, Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Springettsbury Twp

Springettsbury Twp, Pennsylvania (September 19, 2017) – Carolyn Griffin, 61, was struck and killed by a vehicle in Springettsbury, York County, on Friday evening.
The pedestrian accident happened at about 7:45 p.m. September 15, at the intersection of Route 462 and Stonewood Road, near East Market Street, in front of the Sheetz convenience store.
According to a local news source, Griffin was walking in a crosswalk when she was struck by a Toyota Camry driven by Angela Miller of Washington Borough.
Griffin was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
The police are investigating the incident.
