Bradford County crashesYesterday, 2 people lost their lives in separate incidents occurring in Bradford County, showing us that accidents can happen in any county in Pennsylvania without a moment’s notice. Here’s what happened:

In the first accident, happening around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old female failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, which made her cross into traffic coming from the other direction. When the car collided with another vehicle, driven by 59-year-old Ray Sechrist, a 15-year-old girl in the front seat was killed in the accident. There was also an 11-year-old boy in the backseat who was taken to the hospital for serious injuries. Everybody in the accident had injuries ranging from minor to severe.

Then, by the afternoon, another accident happened in Smithfield Township. A 21-year-old named Thomas William Cook lost control when negotiating a curve and crossed sideways into the other lane. He crashed into a tree and was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
