Boy, 6, Injured in Pedestrian Accident on York Road in North Codorus

North Codorus Twp, Pennsylvania (September 24, 2017) – A 6-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital on Friday evening after being struck by a car on Route 116 in North Codorus Township.

According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Route 116, also referred to as York Road near Spring Grove Soccer Complex.

The boy was reportedly playing in the parking lot when he was hit by a pickup.

The boy sustained unknown injuries and was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the pickup truck who stayed at the scene said he did not see the boy.

Southwestern Regional Police are investigating the incident.
