Boy, 17, Injured in Allentown Bicycle Accident

Allentown, Pennsylvania (August 25, 2017) – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car at an intersection on Thursday evening.

The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. August 24, at the intersection of Sumner Avenue and North 14th Street.

The 17-year-old bicyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, however, was not injured in the crash.

The manner of the collision was not yet known.
