Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run on East Butler Road in Summit Township

Summit Township, Pennsylvania (September 28, 2017) – A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Summit Township on Wednesday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 7 a.m. September 27, on East Butler Road near Bonnie Drive.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the injured bicyclist lying unconscious next to his bicycle on East Butler Road.

The bicyclist, identified only as a 39-year-old man was airlifted to Butler Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the police are searching for the driver of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist.
