Winslow Township 2-Car Crash Leaves Woman Injured

Barbara O. Jerry, 78, Injured in Wayne Road Car Crash in Jefferson County

Winslow Township, Pennsylvania (August 17, 2017) – A two-vehicle collision on Wayne Road on Friday morning left one person injured.
According to DuBois-based state police, the incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. August 11, on Wayne Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.
The collision occurred when a westbound 2012 Subaru Outback being driven by 33-year-old John L. Jerry of DuBois collided with a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by Michael C. Eliason which was traveling east on the road.
It is reported that Jerry was attempting to make a left turn onto Sunset Drive but failed to give the Right of Way to the Ford.
The Ford swerved left to avoid a collision, but the Subaru also swerved back right hitting the Ford.
A passenger in Jerry’s vehicle, identified as Barbara O. Jerry, 78, of DuBois suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to DuBois Regional Medical Center. No driver was hurt in the crash.
The police confirmed that all occupants were wearing safety belts before the crash.
Jerry was charged with a traffic violation.
