4 Injured in Two-Car Crash at Route 982 and Chappell Way

Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (August 24, 2017) – Four people were hospitalized after two cars collided on Wednesday night in the McChesneytown area.
The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. near Route 982 and Chappell Way intersection near Latrobe I Westmoreland County.
A car collided with a sports utility vehicle, flipping the SUV in a front yard and leaving the car in a field nearby.
According to firefighters on the crash site, a woman transported by ambulance was the owner of the home where the SUV crashed and sustained injuries from the crash.
One man who was involved in the incident was taken by state police from the scene and could not be reached for comment at that time.
Limited details regarding the cause of the crash, the identities and the condition of the victims were available.
