2 Drivers Taken To Trauma Centers after Penn Hills Township Crash

Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (August 29, 2017) – Two drivers were hospitalized after two car accident with entrapment in Penn Hills Township on Sunday morning, according to Penn Hills Police Department.

The incident took place on the morning of August 27, in the 4900 block of Allegheny River Boulevard in Penn Hills Township.

According to PHPD, one driver was entrapped in the car.

227RQ responded to the crash site, and crews stabilized the car and removed the driver’s side door to free the victim.

The two drivers were taken to local trauma centers.

Limited details regarding the cause of the incident, the identities and the conditions of the drivers were not available at that time.

An investigation into the incident was being headed by Penn Hills Police Department to determine its cause and the responsible party.
